About Me

Hi! My name is Nalani.
I am a photographer and artist based in La Vista, Nebraska. I do a lot of nature and landscape based photography, but I am slowly branching into portraits. I really love candid portraits, and would also love to get into doing portraits for families in the special needs community. I have a son who is autistic, so being able to help others in the community has a special place in my heart!
I also have a love of watercolor painting, that I am also branching into and hoping to get more paintings and prints out there as well. 

I am Native Hawaiian and Japanese, and very proud to be! I am originally from Oahu, Hawaii. I have also lived in Arizona and Alaska, before ending up here in Nebraska. I have been in Nebraska for about 20 years now and actually don't mind it too much! 
Aside from photography and painting, you can find me out in the garden, tending to my many houseplants, cooking or baking something (fun fact: I used to be a chef), playing with my kids & dogs, at the crystal store, and doing some kind of project around the house with my husband.
